Spectra Oven Locked Door

If the oven is empty of food and utensils initiate a self clean cycle.

It will look like a small black post or dowel. Close the door to the stop broil position and lift the door straight out. Press the clean pad wait 10 seconds. With the door open locate the door jamb switch on the face of the oven.

If there is food in the oven let the oven cool to room temperature and try to unlatch the door. Push it in until the oven cavity light goes off indicating that the oven believes the door is closed. 3 set the flashing clock to the current time. If that does not unlock the door run a short self clean cycle 1 2 hours.

While you hold the door jamb switch in this position complete the following steps. 4 slide the door locking lever on front of the oven if applicable or simply just open the door. If there are screws near the top or front that attach the oven top to the base unscrew them and pull the oven top up. Once inside the oven switch the lock from the inside of the oven. If you haven t cleaned the oven but the door still seems locked try sliding the latch to the left gently without force. Grasp the door at the top sides. Detach the oven door.
